California Cool Modern Style

This cream and sugar set is a great example of Retro California style. The colors and hand-painted leaves feel casual and relaxed; the Modern Era design is fun, retro, and very smart.
At the shop I'm noticing people looking for this type of thing. Bauer pottery, Franciscanware, California pottery, the colors blue and green especially sea-green, teal, turquoise, are all popular.

Some of our customers are driving through from Sacramento or the Bay Area sometimes to a second home where they relax or plan to retire, and this fits right in with that casual and relaxed lifestyle. It's also really functional and durable. We do have Franciscan and Bauer in stock now and we're always opening boxes.

Vintage Cookie Jars The Cow Jumped Over The Moon

A 1950's black poodle with a big pink bow, perfect period color. Items like this can really set the mood.
This cookie jar illustrates the classic rhyme "Hey Diddle Diddle" and is from an earlier period possibly the 1930's.

Salt and Pepper Elves and Friends

A small sample of the salt and pepper collection available at the Estate Shop. I believe these are elves in the center, along with a cat, a pig, a celluloid Mr Peanut, and a Kewpie doll dressed as a soldier @WWI.
